I'm a sophomore now! Omg...I can't believe it...haha. Well it seems like just yesterday I was sitting at our summer sectionals for marching band as a freshmen. Where does the time go? It's been a year sense then and I can officially say I survived my freshmen year! (: Even when I thought I wouldn't make it....I did (:

The marching band mini camps went fairly well, I guess. The first mini camp I really though I was still a freshmen and the juniors were still sophomores and the seniors were still juniors. I was completely confused...I can't see the new seniors as seniors...they will always be the juniors to me. I kept thinking that the old seniors would be there, and for some reason I was expecting to have the feeling that Jen is glaring at me and that Kerri would have everyone laughing with her contagious laugh. I miss my old favorite seniors. It really isn't the same without them there. Every time something new happens I gotta tell them. I don't know why but I'm just used to telling Kerri and Jen everything. I really do miss them a ton and wish they were still here.

Well now it's a new marching band season and I have to have my two new favorite seniors. I so far have Rebecca and I will probably choose Emma as my second. Sunil has Tab and Wedad and Sarah has Jenny and it's a tough decision for her between Andrew and Marshall haha. It will be even harder for me at band camp when the seniors say goodbye because last year I barely knew anyone and I balled my eyes out, now imagine this year now that I know all the seniors. I know I will burst out crying when I go to hug Rebecca like I did with Kerri. Gahh...It feels weird to call them seniors....Kerri, Rebecca, Jen, Carmen, and everyone else will always be the seniors Gotta get used to them not being here anymore.

It's not all bad though, I have amazing people to look up to this year. I know Rebecca and Emma wont let me down (: and I still have Jen and Kerri to go to if I need any help. I am in symphonic winds too! I forgot about that haha...I'm 7th chair. But I have to sit next to Destiny which will not turn out good in the end...I know it wont. But I am now the chair Kerri was so that's pretty cool. I don't have much more to say now haha...so maybe I will write more later.
